Reflecting on Growth + Welcoming Alana to Hearten
It’s a special moment for us at Hearten Therapy as we reflect on the past month of having Alana Stramowski, LPC, NCC, on our team! This milestone is more than just welcoming a new therapist—it’s a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate this new chapter for Hearten.
For over a year, Emily and I have felt the pull to expand our team, but we knew this wasn’t a decision to rush. Growth at Hearten is not about quick fixes; it’s about being mindful and intentional. We’ve always been committed to building a practice where both our clients and our therapists feel supported, valued, and encouraged to thrive. When we met Alana, we knew she was exactly the person we had been searching for—a thoughtful, passionate, and skilled therapist who embodies the values we hold dear.
As we approach one month of having Alana as part of Hearten, it has been a time for reflection. Bringing someone new into our practice has reminded us of the beauty and complexity of growth. It’s been an opportunity to step back and learn—not just about Alana’s skills and insights—but about ourselves as leaders. This phase has been a humbling reminder of all we don’t know, as well as an invitation to lean into discovery, reflection, and the kind of leadership that fosters connection and collaboration.
This moment also fills us with so much hope for the future. Every addition to our team strengthens the fabric of who we are and opens the door to new possibilities. The future feels so bright, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us!
Alana specializes in working with individuals and couples navigating pre-dating, dating, and early relationship adjustments, as well as those coping with complex family dynamics or the grief that follows the end of a relationship.
